What You'll Do

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, sterilization, and safety standards
• Perform quality checks to verify instrument functionality and completeness
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment testing
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and procedural teams to meet operational needs
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate supply availability
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and communicate concerns promptly
• Follow facility policies and industry best practices to ensure patient safety

Requirements

What We're Looking For

✅ Current Sterile Processing Certification (SPD) required

✅ Minimum 3 years of recent Sterile Processing experience

✅ Strong knowledge of decontamination, instrument assembly, sterilization, and distribution processes

✅ Experience working with surgical instrumentation and sterile processing equipment

✅ Understanding of infection prevention standards and regulatory guidelines

✅ Ability to identify instrument defects and ensure proper functionality before distribution

✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

✅ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment

✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

✅ Experience supporting operating room and procedural departments preferred
