Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in ultrasound imaging, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to department protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout procedures.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the specialty.
• ARDMS Certification required.
• AHA BLS Certification required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred/required.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment environment.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must work:

• 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day
• 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

Additional Information

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Compliance documents must be completed by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date.
