MRI Technologist (Allied) - Travel Contract

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a busy MRI department supporting inpatient imaging studies. The ideal candidate will be a strong, independent technologist capable of performing high-quality MRI examinations while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT (MRI) Certification required
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Strong inpatient MRI experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent patient care and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols
• Assist with inpatient MRI studies
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
• Operate MRI equipment effectively and safely
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

Contract & Scheduling Information

• Weekend Night Shift
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Travel candidates only
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Overtime

• Daily OT after 24 hours (based on applicable multiplier)
• Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on applicable multiplier)

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must work:

• 2 Major Holidays from:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

AND

• 1 Minor Holiday from:
  • Day After Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • New Year's Eve

Compliance

• Compliance documentation due by the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date
