🏥 About the Assignment

This role focuses on providing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services and behavioral health support within a correctional environment.

As an LCSW, you'll work directly with incarcerated individuals struggling with addiction, mental health concerns, and behavioral challenges while supporting rehabilitation and recovery efforts.

You'll become an integral member of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and promoting long-term recovery.

💼 Key Responsibilities

Substance Use & Behavioral Health Services

• Conduct formal and informal behavioral health evaluations
• Perform diagnostic assessments
• Provide substance use disorder counseling and treatment interventions
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions
• Conduct group therapy and educational programming
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes

Clinical & Case Management Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuity of care and referrals
• Maintain accurate behavioral health documentation
• Ensure compliance with treatment standards and facility policies
• Monitor behavioral health needs and treatment levels
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning

Crisis Intervention & Patient Support

• Respond to behavioral health emergencies and crisis situations
• Provide intervention and stabilization services
• Assist patients experiencing substance withdrawal, relapse concerns, and behavioral health challenges
• Advocate for patient treatment and recovery needs

Staff Support & Collaboration

• Provide clinical guidance to non-clinical staff
