Description

Seeking an experienced CVOR Travel RN to join an Acute Care OR team. The primary assignment is CVOR, but travelers will work in the Main OR when CVOR cases are not scheduled. Candidates must have General OR experience and be comfortable floating within the OR to other specialties.

The RN will participate in a rotating CVOR call schedule and must be available for call, including weekends and holidays.

Unit & Facility Details

Unit: CVOR
Setting: Acute Care
OR Suites: 1
CVOR Volume: Approximately 2 cases per week
Common Cases: Straightforward CABG, AVR, MVR, Thoracotomy
RN Ratio: 2 circulators per case
Scrubbing: Not required, but preferred
Charge Nurse: Charge RN handles assignments for the following day
EMR: Cerner / SurgiNet

Floating

First to Float
Floating is only within the OR to other specialties
Traveler will work in the Main OR when CVOR cases are not available
General OR experience is required
