Registered Nurse – Stepdown / IMCU Float Pool

• Location: Boone, NC
• Unit: IMCU Float Pool
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent IMCU / PCU / Stepdown / Telemetry experience
• 2+ years of travel nursing experience required
• Active NC or Compact RN license
• Recent Epic experience/proficiency required
• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
• Patient ratio approximately 5:1, with a goal of 4:1
• Must be comfortable caring for occasional pediatric patients
• Must be willing to float to Med-Surg based on patient volume
• Floating is required
• Weekend requirement: Up to 2 weekends per month
• Holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling may be considered if requested upfront but is not guaranteed
• No candidates residing within 40 miles of the facility
• Driver's license required for address verification prior to offer
