This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist / Cath Lab Tech looking for a full-time travel assignment with a consistent weekday schedule.

🫀 What You’ll Do

As a CV Invasive Specialist, you’ll provide essential technical support throughout invasive cardiovascular procedures while working closely with physicians, RNs, and the broader procedural team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support during cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist physicians with radiological imaging during cardiac and vascular procedures.
• Serve as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment and work in the control room to monitor and document procedure images and events.
• Provide patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and pre- and post-procedure care.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe Cath Lab environment.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory and stock levels for complex interventions and diagnostic procedures.
• Complete daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards.
• Accurately document productivity and procedural information.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate action to protect patients and staff.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with the cardiovascular procedural team.

📋 Requirements

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS – American Heart Association certification.
• Current ACLS – American Heart Association certification.
• Fluoroscopy Certification.
• Current registration/certification through an accepted pathway, including:
  • Registered ARRT, or
  • RCIS / Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or qualifying cardiovascular invasive credential, or
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification, as applicable.
• Radiation badge must be supplied as required for the assignment.

Preferred:

• Associate's degree.
• 2+ years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience.
