Registered Nurse – Travel Contract
Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Travel / Full-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
Rate: $88/hour
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- TNCC – Required
- CPI or equivalent – Preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Establish priorities based on patient needs and condition
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
- Implement and document timely nursing interventions
- Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
- Perform point-of-care testing
- Coordinate and delegate patient-care activities appropriately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
- Participate in staff orientation and unit development
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff
