Registered Nurse – Travel Contract

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
Rate: $88/hour
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
 

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact RN license
• BLS – AHA
• ACLS – AHA
• PALS – AHA
• TNCC – Required
• CPI or equivalent – Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document initial and ongoing patient assessments
• Establish priorities based on patient needs and condition
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as needed
• Implement and document timely nursing interventions
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning
• Perform point-of-care testing
• Coordinate and delegate patient-care activities appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards
• Participate in staff orientation and unit development
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and staff
