GLC Government Services is seeking a licensed and dependable Radiology Technician to support our contract at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Herlong in California.

Requirements:

• State license to perform radiologic procedures
• Current ARRT certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Current CPR certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
• Strong organizational, communication, and patient‑care skills
• Ability to work in a correctional healthcare environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine radiologic exams (chest, bone, skull, spine, portable X‑rays)
• Select proper exposure factors and patient positioning for quality images
• Explain procedures and support patients during exams
• Identify abnormalities and notify physicians as needed
• Maintain patient records and schedule exams
• Ensure equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance
• Respond to emergencies during procedures
• Work with medical staff and follow correctional safety protocols
