Description
Job Title: Locum – Physician Assistant (PA) – Cardiothoracic Surgery
Location: Lebanon, PA
Job Type: Locum
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- 3 nights/week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 24-hour shifts)
- 24-hour on-call coverage
- 3 weekends per month
- Friday 5PM – Monday 7AM
Coverage Dates:
- Oct 23 (5PM) – Oct 26 (7AM)
- Oct 30 (5PM) – Nov 2 (7AM)
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Setting: Inpatient Hospital
Hospital Beds: 163 beds
Average Callback: 4 hours per day (including rounding)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cardiac Surgery PA/NP coverage
- Urgent surgery support (cath lab to surgery)
- ICU to discharge patient management
- Vein harvesting
- Rounding on cardiac surgery patients
- Surgeon available for backup after consult
- Stable patients managed until Monday if needed
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- ✅ Active PA License or IMLC/LOQ – REQUIRED
- ✅ Active DEA – REQUIRED
- ✅ NPDB Self-Query (within 6 months) – REQUIRED
- ✅ Full Malpractice Disclosure – REQUIRED
