Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (General / OB / Vascular Ultrasound Tech) – Night Shift

• Schedule: Night Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 20:00 – 06:00 | Monday – Thursday | 40 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
  • Fixed Schedule: Four consecutive 10-hour night shifts (Monday through Thursday); No on-call requirement (department is staffed 24/7).
  • Weekend & Holiday Protocol: Weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled.
  • Floating & Coverage Protocol: Must cover the 84th Emergency Department for ultrasound orders placed after 18:00 (Monday–Friday) and provide coverage for weekend 24-hour call needs as assigned.
  • Attire & Badge: Black scrub pants with Blue scrub top (not provided). Agency must supply traveler Radiation Badge if required.
  • Orientation & Cancellation: 12 orientation hours. Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.

• Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of clinical Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience required [HARDSTOP]. Must be proficient in handling an average of 8–12 scans per night across Philips ultrasound equipment.
• Clinical Specialty Scope [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical competence across a full range of imaging protocols: General, OB/GYN, Small Parts, Vascular, and Thyroid Fine Needle Aspirations (FNAs) [HARDSTOP].
• Radius Restriction [HARDSTOP]: Strict 60-mile radius rule enforced. Candidate driver's license must be submitted with profile to verify distance [HARDSTOP].
• Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
  • Active ARDMS (RDMS) credential strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support — AHA ONLY) certification [HARDSTOP].
• Systems Proficiency: Experience with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS software.
