Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide comprehensive clinical social work services in a psychiatric setting. The ideal candidate will independently manage a complex caseload, provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, coordinate discharge planning, and support patients through complex psychosocial and legal needs.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and independently develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment and discharge plans.
• Independently manage a moderate to high-complexity caseload, including patients with co-occurring disorders, psychosocial instability, and significant discharge barriers.
• Provide crisis intervention and evidence-based therapeutic services in individual, group, and family settings.
• Lead comprehensive discharge planning, proactively identifying and addressing barriers related to housing, insurance, legal status, and access to care.
• Coordinate complex transitions of care across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate treatment planning and continuity of care.
• Coordinate and independently manage court-related and legal processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards, including patient rights, mandated reporting, and documentation requirements.
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation that accurately reflects clinical decision-making, interventions, and patient progress.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate appropriate community resources and support services.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social work – Required
• Active LCSW License – Required
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience – Required
• Epic experience – Required
• BLS – Required
• CPI certification – Required
• Previous travel experience – Preferred
• New graduates are not accepted

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
• No floating
• Holiday coverage as needed
• 13-week contract
• Start date available 09/28/2026 or 10/05/2026
• Credentials are due Thursday before the start date

This opportunity is located within the Psychiatry department, where the Social Worker will work with patients requiring comprehensive psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, legal coordination, and complex discharge planning.
