Description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Roanoke, Virginia.
Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Virginia.
Shift: Day shifts, 8- and 10-hour shifts available; 7:00 AM–4:00 PM for 8-hour shifts. Full-time, 40 hours per week. No 24-hour shifts.
Start Date: December 7, 2026
Position Details: Full-time CRNA coverage with 6–12 month contract options and the possibility to extend. Providers must be available to work full-time and Fridays. Level I Trauma experience required. No 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedules.
Patient Population: Highly complex patients
Setting: Acute Care Hospital; Level I Trauma
Responsibilities: Provide anesthesia services across Neuro, Orthopedics, Trauma, General Surgery, GYN, Endoscopy, and Pediatrics. No Cardiac or OB cases.
Required Procedures: Level I Trauma experience
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Medical Direction (loosely)
Days Per Month: Full-time, 40 hours per week
On-Call/Weekends: Scheduled shifts with no call; weekend shifts may be required.
Requirements:
- Board Certified – Required
- Active Virginia license or willing to obtain Virginia license – Required
- Level I Trauma experience – Required
