Details
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Location: Kalispell, MT
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
- Mostly adult patient population with potential pediatric patients in the ER
- Float throughout ER, PCU, Med/Surg, and ICU
- Common diagnoses include acute/chronic respiratory failure, pneumonia, flu, COVID, CHF, COPD, post-open heart, and critical/vented patients
- No call
- Weekend rotation varies based on unit needs; may include every weekend
- 50% of holidays during contract
- First-time travelers accepted
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT not accepted
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
- Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP/non-invasive ventilation, and high-flow oxygen
- Experience assisting with intubations, bedside bronchoscopies, and trach insertion/care
- Comfortable responding to rapid responses, traumas, and codes
- Must be comfortable making clinical judgments and working autonomously
- NICU experience preferred, but not required
