Details

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location: Kalispell, MT
36 hours per week
12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
Mostly adult patient population with potential pediatric patients in the ER
Float throughout ER, PCU, Med/Surg, and ICU
Common diagnoses include acute/chronic respiratory failure, pneumonia, flu, COVID, CHF, COPD, post-open heart, and critical/vented patients
No call
Weekend rotation varies based on unit needs; may include every weekend
50% of holidays during contract
First-time travelers accepted
EMR: Meditech

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience
Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); CRT not accepted
BLS certification through AHA or ARC
ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP/non-invasive ventilation, and high-flow oxygen
Experience assisting with intubations, bedside bronchoscopies, and trach insertion/care
Comfortable responding to rapid responses, traumas, and codes
Must be comfortable making clinical judgments and working autonomously
NICU experience preferred, but not required
