First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel contract opening for an experienced Interventional Radiology / Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (RT / CI / VI) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Operating within the high-volume Cardiac Cath Lab at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis—a premier regional cardiac center known for its comprehensive advanced heart failure and heart transplant programs—this position features a structured 4x10 daytime schedule (07:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 days per week with one weekday off). If you are an ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with 2–3 years of complex interventional cardiac catheterization experience looking to earn an outstanding $3,427/week with maximum tax-free stipends, this high-yield Midwest contract is built for you!

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:00 PM / 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 days per week with a scheduled weekday off).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Requirements:
    • Standby call for nights, weekends, and rotational holidays.
    • Average call volume: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4–5 weeks.
    • Strict 30-minute emergency response time to the facility when on-call.
  • Unit Scope & Acuity: High-volume diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath Lab managing both adult and pediatric patient populations. High concentration of advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and cardiac transplant cases.
  • Procedural Competencies: Scrubbing and circulating complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, structural heart cases, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile field management, and emergency revascularizations.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of dedicated complex interventional Cardiac Cath Lab technologist experience in a high-volume acute care cath lab program.
  • Licensure: Valid Indiana Radiologic Technologist License in hand.
  • Certifications Required:
    • ARRT Certification in Radiography: ARRT(R) required; Cardiac Interventional ARRT(CI) or Vascular Interventional ARRT(VI) credential preferred.
    • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Onboarding Verification: Standard Ascension medical imaging onboarding modules, skills checklist, and background clearance.
