Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) – Job Description

Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) to support surgeons during surgical procedures. The CSFA will assist with patient positioning, surgical preparation, maintaining sterile technique, tissue handling, wound closure, and other intraoperative duties as directed by the surgical team.

Requirements:

BLS (AHA) Certification
Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) – NBSTSA
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
Ability to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and the OR team
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
