IMCU Registered Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing medically complex patients requiring close monitoring and specialized treatments.

Assignment Details

Unit: IMCU
Unit Size: 16–10 beds
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4
Contract: 48 hours
Start Date: ASAP
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience

Patient Population

Common patient conditions include:

Sepsis
Heart failure
Hypertensive emergencies
Respiratory failure
COPD
Chronic kidney disease
Type 2 Diabetes (T2DM)
Substance abuse
Encephalopathy

Clinical Skills

Experience managing Heparin drips
Ability to care for high-acuity patients requiring close monitoring
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to respond effectively to changes in patient condition
