Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered care for Oncology/Hematology patients across multiple locations throughout the Hudson Valley. Oncology/Hematology experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage health problems and coordinate care for Oncology/Hematology patients
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team
- Prepare patients for procedures and manage postoperative clinical care
- Monitor patient status and support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Travel between multiple locations as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current APRN or PA license
- Oncology/Hematology experience is helpful but not required
- Strong computer skills
- EMR experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation required to travel between locations
Highlights
- Up to $165,000/year
- Monday–Friday
- 5 × 8.5-hour shifts
