Mother Baby RN — Denver, CO
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 3x12s
- Contract: 36 guaranteed hours/week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency, based on business need
- May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Role Overview
- Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
- Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
- Performs health teaching and counseling
- Provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
- Executes delegated medical functions
- Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
- Documents per hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promotes SCL Health's mission, vision, and values, and abides by service behavior standards
Requirements
- ASN required (graduation from an accredited nursing program); BSN preferred
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for the unit
- Previous RN experience preferred
