Description
Registered Nurse needed for a 13-week local contract at a correctional facility in Appleton, MN. Multiple openings, days and nights available, 12-hour shifts on a 36/48 rotation. W-2 employment.
Duties include assessments, medication administration, sick call, emergency response, and documentation for an incarcerated population.
Requirements:
- Active Minnesota RN license (Minnesota is not a compact state; a multistate license from another state does not qualify). Nurses licensed in ND, SD, IA, or WI may be eligible through Minnesota's Border State Registry. Ask us about the process if you are not yet MN-licensed.
- Current BLS
- US citizenship (required for federal facility clearance)
- Ability to pass a federal background check, credit check, and fingerprinting
- Correctional, ER, inpatient, or mental health experience preferred
Clearance takes roughly 2 to 3 weeks after offer. Candidates who respond quickly at each step start fastest.
