Job Title: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU RN)

Compensation & Schedule Details
- Hours & Shift: Day shift (36 hours per week, 0630–1900 / 12-hour shifts).
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Projected Start Date: September 10, 2026; Projected End Date: December 12, 2026).
- Pay Rate: Increased regular pay rate of $85.00/hr.

- Facility Profile: 295-bed acute care facility serving a 10-county area in south-central Kentucky. Accredited by The Joint Commission with Advanced Certification for Primary Stroke Care, Spine Surgery Certification, Commission on Cancer certification, and Chest Pain Center accreditation with PCI.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care / ICU nursing experience required.
Licensure: Active Kentucky (KY) RN license or multi-state compact RN license in hand.
Certifications: Appropriate life support certifications (such as AHA BLS/ACLS) required for critical care placement.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
