Title: RN – Operating Room
Location: San Angelo, TX 76903
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8 | 10:30 AM–7:00 PM | Monday–Friday | Call required
Requirements:
- 5+ years OR/RN experience
- Epic experience required
- Trauma II experience required
- TX RN License – license in hand required
- BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred
- Travel experience highly preferred
- Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
- RTO required at submission
- SSN, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS/Nursys required with submission
- Local candidates within 110 miles not accepted
Description:
- OR-ready RN for a mid-shift position supporting a General OR/Trauma setting.
- Experience with Orthopedic, Spine, Neurology, General Surgery, Urology, Robotic, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Bariatric procedures.
- Must be comfortable with blood administration, conscious sedation monitoring, infection control, specimen handling, surgical time-out, wound management, emergency/code response, and laser safety.
- Experience with Da Vinci Xi, Mako Surgical System, colorectal/urologic robotics, and various OR equipment is valuable.
- Schedule includes weekday, weekend, and holiday call; may include Charge Nurse duties.
