Description

RN – NICU-Based Float Pool

License: Active NJ or Compact RN
Certs: BLS, NRP, PALS
Experience: 1.5+ years; must have Level III NICU + PICU experience
Skills: A-lines, central/UAC/UVC lines, IV vasopressors, vents, CPAP/BiPAP, surfactants, feeding tubes, NAS
Charting: EPIC required
Schedule: Every other weekend; holiday requirement
Floating: Required to PICU, Peds & NBN based on skill set
RTO: Submit RTO/schedule requests with submission; no requests after offer
Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
Locals: Will accept local travelers
Scrubs: Navy pants + Peds top

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center has a 56-bed Level III NICU and is a Regional Perinatal Center caring for more than 1,200 premature and ill newborns annually. The PICU provides comprehensive medical and surgical care with full-time pediatric critical care physicians and pediatric subspecialists. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is a 597-bed teaching hospital and major teaching affiliate of Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is part of RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest integrated healthcare system.
