🩺 What You'll Do

As an Operating Room RN, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative care throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide coordinated nursing care for surgical patients throughout the perioperative experience
• Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment
• Apply critical thinking and independent clinical judgment
• Coordinate patient care and appropriately delegate duties to members of the healthcare team
• Provide patient/family education and support
• Participate in quality, safety, and continuity-of-care activities
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

🤖 Key Specialty Requirement

Da Vinci robotic surgery experience is required.

Candidates should have hands-on experience working with Da Vinci/robotic surgical procedures and be comfortable functioning in a busy Operating Room environment.

📞 Call Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable participating in:

• Alternating 1st and 2nd call on Fridays
• One weekend call approximately every 5–6 weeks

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice
• BLS – AHA or ARC accepted
• ACLS – AHA or ARC accepted
• PALS – AHA or ARC accepted
• Previous Operating Room / acute-care experience
• Da Vinci/robotic surgery experience – Required
• BSN preferred
