Unit: Emergency Dept
Experience Required:  At least 2 years of critical care experience with the most recent year in a Level I-II ER. Will consider Level III that is 500+ Beds.  Cerner or Epic preferred. They do see about 200 patients per day. Just became a Level I trauma center; they see lots of trauma, gun shot wounds and receive alot of transfer from surrounding hospitals 
First-time traveler: Yes, with at least 2+ years’ ED experience AND TWO FULL year of Cerner/EPIC experience, at Level II Trauma or higher experience.

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Secure/CPI (nationally recognized/JACHO accepted), NIHSS; TNCC required

Skills Required: Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, picc, midline, port, foley, splint/Ortho device application and care, bipap/hiflow, continuous bladder irrigation

Patient Types: Multi System Trauma (level II), STEMI, STROKE, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Psychiatric

Patient Ratios: 1:4 ER, 1:5 MS Holds, 1:3 ICU Holds

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: Every other or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule
Holiday Expectations: One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
