Job Description (JD):
Job Title: Nurse Coordinator – Ambulatory Oncology
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8-Hour Days (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM / 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (40 hrs/week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Outpatient medical oncology care coordination & patient navigation.
- Telephone triage, symptom management, and patient education.
- Coordinating referrals (VNA/Hospice/DME), specialist consultations, imaging, and IR procedures.
- Processing specialty oral chemotherapy drug authorizations and script renewals.
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts RN License (required at submission).
- 2+ years of Medical/Hematology Oncology experience (outpatient care coordination preferred).
- Strong phone triage, communication, and computer skills.
- Note: No local candidates.
