Travel LPN/LVN – Med/Tele Must have hospital experience in past 1 year

Beds: 18
Patient Ratio: 6:1
EMR: Cerner PowerChart
Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, wound vacs, SCDs, PrimaFit/PrimoFit

Staffing – Night Shift

1 Charge RN
2–3 RNs
1 LPN
1–2 PCTs

Key Requirements

Must Have:

Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Telemetry experience
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience

Preferred:

Charge nurse experience

Typical Responsibilities & Procedures

Peripheral IV starts
Dressing changes
Standard Medical-Surgical nursing skills
Patient monitoring and care
Work collaboratively with RNs, PCTs, and other healthcare team members

Floating

Travelers may float to:

Other Medical-Surgical units
ED holding areas caring for Medical-Surgical patients

Note: Travelers float before permanent staff.

Weekend Requirement

Every other weekend OR
6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Dress Code

All navy scrubs
All white scrubs
White top with navy pants
Navy or white undershirt if needed
