Description
Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse
Shift: Night 3x12s (19:00 – 07:30) | Every Other Weekend
Contract Length: 13, 20, or 26 Weeks
Key Requirements:
- License: MA RN License (Conditional MA license accepted if application is in progress).
- Experience: 2.5+ years of dedicated CVICU / Cardiac Surgery ICU experience.
- Must-Have Clinical Skills: Experience with Mechanical Circulatory Support (IABP, Impella, ECMO, VAD), Swan-Ganz, CVVH, and vasoactive drip titration.
- EMR & Certs: Epic required | BLS & ACLS required.
- Testing: Must pass a telemetry test during orientation (1 attempt).
Unit & Facility Highlights:
- 16-bed high-acuity Cardiac Surgery ICU (CABG, valve repairs, vascular surgery, advanced heart failure).
- No Block Scheduling: Floating required to other adult ICUs as needed.
