5-8's days, the manager will call for interview, not an auto offer
General Information:Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? 2 years required
Will you accept a first-time traveler? If traveler has wound care experience prior to traveling
Wound Care patients: Very large variety of patients with wounds of various causes included but not limited to diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries. Patient Ratios:Typically: 1 patient/hour dependent on complexityRequired Certifications:RN Wound Care: BLS (required)Wound care certification (required)RN Wound Care (Ostomy Certified):BLS (required)Wound care certification (required)Ostomy certification (CWOCN) (required)Below agencies are approved for Accreditation please do not decline travelers with certifications from other agencies, until approved by Management, as they may also be acceptable.American Board of Wound Management (ABWM); National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO); Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB)Required Education:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of NursingSkills required:General wound care background is a must, Wound Vacs, Nurse Level Debridement, Perform ABIs, Cast cutting
