Job Details

Unit: IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit)
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour night shift
Floating: Required
Scrub Color: Navy Blue
Experience: 2+ years IMCU/PCU experience
Travel Experience: Must be documented on resume
EMR: EPIC experience required
Local Candidates: Accepted; local rates apply if within 75 miles
Licenses: Active NY RN license plus all RN licenses listed/verified through Nursys
Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
Driver’s License: Address should match the candidate’s demographics

Clinical Experience/Skills

The nurse should be comfortable caring for patients with:

Neuro and cardiac conditions
Trauma
COPD and respiratory conditions
DKA
Sepsis
MI
CV stepdown
Post-op patients
Chronic ventilator patients

Equipment/skills: Temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines (A-lines), BiPAP, Neptune Vapo, and ventilator patients.
