Description

Telemetry / Neuro-Telemetry Registered Nurse (Neuro-Tele RN) – Day Shift

Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:30 | 36 Hours Per Week
- Schedule Protocol: Fast-paced 28-bed neuro-telemetry unit; 1:4 to 1:5 nurse-to-patient staffing ratios. No block scheduling requests allowed.
- On-Call Protocol: On-call coverage strictly required.
- Floating Protocol: Floating is required across clinical units.
- RTO Protocol: All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of submittal (7 days maximum RTO; candidates with >7 days RTO will be automatically rejected). Zero RTO permitted during the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Attire: Solid black scrubs strictly required.
- Interview Requirement: Clinical interview required. Submittal file must include candidate interview availability dates/times in the comments section.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Telemetry RN experience strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Must show evidence of working in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Neuro & Trauma Clinical Scope [HARDSTOP]: Proven mastery in acute neurological/stroke nursing, stroke scale execution (NIHSS), post-trauma patient care, and continuous telemetry dysrhythmia management [HARDSTOP].
Mandatory Technical Skills [HARDSTOP]: Direct hands-on experience in Phlebotomy and starting/maintaining IV lines within the last 12 months strictly required [HARDSTOP]. (Phlebotomy experience MUST be explicitly detailed on the resume).
Education Accreditation Mandate [HARDSTOP]: Degree must be from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE [HARDSTOP].
EMR Requirement [HARDSTOP]: Resume must show direct Epic EMR usage within the last 12 months or candidate will be automatically rejected [HARDSTOP].
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active Ohio State RN License or multi-state eNLC Compact RN License [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
- Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
- Active NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification [HARDSTOP].
