Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a fast-paced 28-bed Neuro-Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry and neuro patient-care experience, including stroke and post-trauma patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and neuro patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition.
- Perform neurological assessments and utilize stroke scales.
- Care for post-trauma and neuro patients.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Start and maintain IVs.
- Perform phlebotomy and blood draws.
- Document patient care accurately in Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Float to other units as required.
- Provide safe, effective care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license eligible for practice in Ohio.
- Minimum 2 years of Telemetry RN experience.
- Recent experience caring for neuro/stroke patients.
- Post-trauma patient-care experience required.
- Epic experience within the last 12 months required.
- Phlebotomy experience within the last year required.
- Proficiency with starting and maintaining IVs.
- Strong telemetry/EKG knowledge.
- Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
- Must be willing to float as required.

- Patient Ratio: 1:4–5
- Patient Population: Neuro, stroke, telemetry, and post-trauma patients
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Float: Required
- Scrubs: Solid black
Submission Requirements
- RTO must be provided at the time of submission.
- Maximum 7 days of RTO accepted.
- No RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment.
- Candidates requesting more than 7 days of RTO will be automatically rejected.
- No block schedule requests.
- Resume must clearly show Epic and phlebotomy experience within the last 12 m
