Description
Contract Length: 13 weeks.
Start dates: 10/19.
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36.
Shift Requirements: 12hr nights 7-7.
Float Requirements (campuses and/or units): float to ED within competency required.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: ?Can be low censused and put on call.
Call back minimum is 2 hours.
Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: every other weekend/ holiday.
Required Licenses and Certifications: Current MI RN license and AHA BLS.
ACLS is preferred but not required.
Required Experience: Minimum 2+ years Med/Surg required.
ED experience preferred but not required; ICU experience not required.
Systems / Skills: Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis.

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
