General CommentsUnit Profile Facility Name: North Alabama Medical Center Floor: 2nd floor- 2400/2500 Trauma Level: 2 Position Information: Facility Department/Cost Center: 63001 Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN Specialty: Critical Care Stepdown Number of Openings: 2 Shift: 1900-0700 Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekend Hours: every other weekend Call Requirements: none Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Years of Experience: 1 Float Requirements: possibly to medsurg but not likely Additional Notes: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 31 Patient Ratios: 1:4-1:5 Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, occasional epidural pumps EHR: Meditech Supervisor: Bre Russell Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc. : adult and geriatric Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: cardiac drips, chest tubes, Preferred Skillset/Experience: critical care stepdown/PCU, TR bands Common Diagnosis/Treatment: post vascular, post CABG, CVA, respiratory failure, heart failure, chest pain/ post cath lab Personality Fit: kind, respectful, team player, punctual, flexible Required Education: ADN, BSN Dress Code: Scrub Color: royal blue
