Description
Manager Notes: CVICU RN travelers who are trained on Balloon pump and Impella devices to work TICU. These travelers will be needed until we successfully train enough TICU staff on the devices to support the need. The TICU is currently official overflow for CVICU patients.
The cardiac travelers will be utilized as support for staff on NOCs and may be needed to manage a device.
Required Education:
Associate's degree in nursing.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. -AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent is required.
