Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract

Schedule

• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule
• Overtime: Not billable until after 48 hours

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of employment or compact RN license
• BLS certification through AHA – Required
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
• BSN preferred

Orientation & Competency

• Experienced RNs must complete New Nurse Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
• New hires will be precepted by designated trained staff.
• Organizational entry competency validation is required.
• Med-Surg-specific competency validation is required.
• Annual competency requirements must be completed.
• Newly licensed RNs may participate in a residency or specialized orientation program.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be willing to float.
• No call required.
• Epic EMR.
