Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - 12-Hour Nights

• Care Setting: Acute / Inpatient & Outpatient Units
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Shift & Schedule:

• Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) or Mid-Shift options available (2:15 PM – 10:45 PM, 5x8s).
• Scheduling: 4-week rotating schedule. Every other weekend requirement and holiday rotation as scheduled. Requested Time Off (RTO) honored. No self-scheduling.
• On-Call: None

Position Summary & Duties:

• Patient Population: Adults, Pediatrics, and Neonates (handled in ER/Peds settings; no NICU).
• Areas Covered: Inpatient (MS, PCU, ICU), ER, Rehab, PACU, SNF, Endo, Cath Lab, SDS, and outpatient ABGs/6-minute walks.
• Daily Duties: Floor care, breathing treatments, ABGs, capillary sticks for I-Stats, and respiratory equipment management. (No EKGs required).
• Intubation: Assist only (no independent intubation required).
• Equipment: Puritan Bennett 840 Vents, BiPAP V60s, and Airvo 2 High-Flow systems.
• Support: Charge RTs on duty all shifts; supervisor/director available Monday–Friday. You are never the only RT in-house.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience: Prefers 3–4 years of experience, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and RRT via NBRC (CRTs acceptable if grandfathered in by the WV Board of Respiratory Care).
• Licensure: Must provide a copy of an unexpired driver's license (strict 50-mile radius rule).
• State Specifics: WV CARES background check required prior to start.
• Disclosures: Any licensing hits must be disclosed at the time of submission.
• Dress Code: Teal scrubs (patterned scrub tops permitted).
