ICU RN – Night Shift

Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts
Setting: Level I Trauma Center
Population: Primarily adult inpatients
Travel: Travel candidates only
Holiday Requirement: Only one major holiday may be requested off per contract

Required Experience

• Recent adult ICU experience
• Hands-on NxStage CRRT experience—required
• Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
• Ability to independently manage high-acuity and critically ill patients

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Manage critically ill adult patients in an inpatient environment
• Operate NxStage equipment and provide continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor patient response and recognize changes in clinical condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions and patient outcomes
• Provide safe, evidence-based care consistent with professional nursing standards
