Job Description:
Pharmacist Inpatient Setting
Schedule: Shift: 5x8's Rotating schedule, weekdays, some weekends (every 3rd weekend). If working overnights, 7 nights on, 7 nights off.
Shifts times: Day shifts: 0630 – 1500, Overnight shifts: 1930 – 0730 (Flexible, can be discussed in interview)
Required Skills
IV admixture/IV pharmacy experience
Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
Antibiotic management
Drug interaction review
Medication order entry
Medication order verification
Requirements:
•
Active VA Pharmacist License in hand
•
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy – required
•
PharmD and Registered Pharmacist (RPh) credentials required
•
Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience.
