Description

Title: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele
Location: Maryville, TN 37804
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days & Nights both shift available (3x12)s

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent experience
Previous charge experience required
Travel experience required; no first-time travelers
Active TN RN license
BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
Minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
MS/Tele experience
Patient ratio: 1:6
Must be willing to float to other units/campuses as needed

Description:

30-bed Neuroscience Med/Surg unit focused on Stroke/TIA and higher-acuity Med/Surg patients
Patient population: Adults & Geriatrics
Common diagnoses include Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, PNA, Chest Pain, Dialysis, AKI, Post Heart Cath, Respiratory Failure, Encephalopathy, CHF, and Sepsis
Skills include telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, blood products, central lines/PICC, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, wound care, and oxygen management
Peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation performed on the unit
Every other weekend
Float required based on facility needs and skill set
