Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion / Oncology
Shift: 8-Hour Days (Mostly 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday – Friday
Hours: 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week
On-Call: None
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care infusion setting at the CUMC Bergan campus. The unit sees approximately 50 patients per day with a target staffing model of 6–7 RNs daily. Candidates with strong infusion skills and a high preference for chemotherapy certification are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities & Clinical Duties
- Administer and manage infusions including Chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood products, iron, and IV fluids.
- Administer various specialized clinical injections.
- Maintain accurate, compliant patient charting utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN License (License to Submit required).
- Driver’s License required at submittal for radius verification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS - AHA) certification.
- High Preference: Chemo Certification.
- Education: BSN is not required.
