Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Rehab Setting
West Melbourne, Florida
We are seeking a Travel Physical Therapist Assistant for a contract opportunity in West Melbourne, Florida. This role is a great fit for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, supporting treatment plans, and helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
This opportunity offers a weekday schedule with a rotating weekend requirement.

Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance activities, transfers, and functional mobility.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
- Educate patients on safety techniques, mobility strategies, and home exercise programs.
- Complete timely documentation and progress notes.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes.
