Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current acute-care MS/Telemetry experience is a HARD STOP requirement
• Must have worked consistently in the same specialty within the last 12 months
• BLS required
• Epic experience required
• Travel experience not required

• Unit: 19 James Medical Oncology
• Beds: 36
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Patient Focus: Oncology and medical-surgical patients
• Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon and esophageal cancers, sickle cell crises, and patients receiving chemotherapy.
• Strong focus on cardiac monitoring, chemotherapy care, infection prevention, fall prevention, symptom management, and comorbidity management.
• May float to other Med/Surg Oncology units based on unit needs.
• Weekend requirements vary according to unit needs.
• Orientation: 72 hours
