Description

Acute Care Pharmacist – Travel

📍 Facility: Mercy Hospital Springfield, Springfield, MO
🕐 Shift: Evenings, 2:00 PM–12:30 AM, 7 on/7 off (Thu–Wed; may vary)
📞 Call: As required by facility
📅 Weekends: As required by facility
💉 Flu Vaccine: Required Nov 1–Apr 1, or Mercy-approved exemption

Job Details

Acute Care Pharmacy / Central Pharmacy
Primarily product verification and central pharmacy workflow
Verify/check IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, kits, crash carts, and prepackaged medications
Coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy
Oversee workflow of pharmacy technicians and redirect tasks as needed
EMR: EPIC
On-site 100%
Training: 2–3 weeks
Team: 2 pharmacists + 5–6 technicians on evening shift
Extension is very likely if performing well

Requirements

Missouri Pharmacist license required
BLS — AHA only
1+ year experience preferred
New graduates will be considered
Local candidates: rate is $10 below posted travel rate
