NICU
Facility/Unit: Women & Infants Hospital (WIH) — Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Schedule: Weeknights and weekends, 48hrs/week, four 12-hour shifts. Flex position; shifts predominantly nights.
Auto Offer: Likely — strong candidates meeting requirements may be fast-tracked without full interview.
Contract Dates:
- Start: 11/02/2026 (HARD START)
- End: 01/02/2027 (HARD END)
- No extension available.
Some Holidays Required:
- Veterans Day (11/11/2026)
- Thanksgiving Day (11/26/2026)
- Christmas Eve (12/24/2026)
- Christmas Day (12/25/2026)
- New Year's Eve (12/31/2026)
- New Year's Day (01/01/2027)
Time Off: Candidates with no time off requests will be given preference/considered.
EMR: EPIC required.
Vaccination Requirements:
- Flu vaccine required
- COVID-19 vaccine required — no exemptions.
Clinical Requirements:
- Active RN license (or compact, if applicable to RI)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- NRP certification required
- STABLE certification preferred (confirm if unit requires)
- Minimum 1–2 years recent NICU experience (Level IIII)
- Vent/high-acuity neonate experience preferred
