Travel Registered Nurse – Banner Health

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, evidence-based patient care while coordinating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, developmental, cultural, educational, and discharge-planning needs
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans
• Administer treatments and provide direct patient care according to physician orders
• Monitor patient progress and report abnormal findings
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise care provided by supporting personnel
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, precepting, and staff development

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license for the state of practice or qualifying compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute-care RN experience
• Specialty-specific acute-care experience within the past 12 months
• Must meet all requirements listed in the additional comments and varied work-schedule details

Additional Requirements

• Specialty-specific certifications or continuing education may be required
• Certain Banner facilities or departments require an applicable Arizona or Colorado fingerprint clearance card
• Must be able to perform direct patient-care duties, including frequent standing, walking, bending, transferring patients, and lifting up to 75 pounds
