Unit: R7 Transitional Care
Address: 22 Bramhall Street, Portland, ME 04102
Shift: Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours preferred; 36 hours accepted
Schedule: Every other weekend
Call: None
Openings: 1
Contract Reason: Leave coverage

Unit Details

46 beds at capacity
Maximum RN-to-patient ratio: 1:8
Mixed medical and surgical patients who are medically ready for discharge
Floating may be required based on clinical skills
EMR: Epic

Requirements

Active Maine or compact RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Recent acute-care experience required
Charge nurse experience
Strong electronic charting/EMR experience
Must complete assigned HealthStream modules

Comfortable caring for transitional-care and medically complex patients

Equipment

Specialty and Stryker beds, Philips vital-sign monitors, overhead lifts, Sara Stedy, standing scales, bladder scanners, HoverMatt, Sage mats, Synergy Air beds, stretchers, wheelchairs, walkers, and slide boards.

Scrubs may be any color
Fragrance-free environment
No artificial nails, graphic T-shirts, hoodies, open-toed shoes, or unprofessional attire/grooming
