Job Details:
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Sunday; 2–3 shifts per week
Start Date: ASAP
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults/Geriatric
Setting: Hospital/Inpatient
Responsibilities: Solo PA coverage, primarily seeing postoperative patients on the floor coming from Step Down, OR, or ICU; may see transferred patients requiring H&P; may serve as first responder until the fellow arrives
Required Procedures: Chest tube, Blake drain, and pigtail management; ABG, NGT, G-tube and J-tube experience helpful
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Thoracic Surgery Fellow available as a resource; code team available at hospital
Days Per Month: 2–3 shifts per week
On-Call/Weekends: No separate call; shifts may occur Monday–Sunday
Submission Requirements:
