We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join an outpatient radiation department. The RN will provide clinical support and patient-centered care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey, including IV starts, patient education, telephone triage, and wound care.

Key Responsibilities

• Start and maintain IV access as needed.
• Provide patient education related to treatment, medications, and care.
• Triage patient calls and assess clinical concerns appropriately.
• Provide wound care and monitor patient needs.
• Support oncology patients receiving outpatient radiation treatment.
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Epic.
• Monitor patients and escalate concerns appropriately.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Med-Surg Oncology experience required.
• Active California RN License required at the time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted.
• BLS required.
• ONC certification preferred.
• Epic experience required.
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions.
