Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel Assignment

Shift: 12H Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
• RRT required. CRT is not accepted.
• BLS (AHA).
• ACLS (AHA).
• PALS (AHA).
• NRP required for NICU coverage.
• Active license required for submission.
• Must be comfortable floating between all specialties.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Scheduling

• Self-scheduling available.
• Travelers are the last to sign up and must remain flexible.
• Block scheduling is not accommodated.
• May be asked to trade shifts or rotate between shifts.
• Manager wants RTO submitted ahead of time.

Available Shifts:

• Days: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Evenings: 11:00 AM–11:30 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Call Requirements

• Optional call/standby.
• Text list available for picking up shifts.
• Call response time: 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements

• First to float.
• Must be willing to float throughout the hospital.
• May float to sister facilities:
  • Nampa – 14 miles west.
  • Boise – 10 miles east.
• May be asked to float mid-shift.
• Minimum 60 minutes' notice prior to the shift for floating.
• Willingness to float within the Treasure Valley is required.

Travel & Radius Rule

50-mile radius rule applies.

Candidates must live 50 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel.

The candidate's permanent address is required in the submittal to verify compliance before profile review.
